Been a good few weeks being back home & seeing the PNW car scene. I attended a few local community car meets/cruises the first couple summer weekends and got the chance to glance and learn about a few of these builds prior to this event. Shockingly enough this was my first time spectating Wekfest ever and as much as I love carsandcoffee’s or throwing mini meets, being in showroom car events are amplified x two. The energy I’d anticipated was one hundred percent there! I rolled in passenger side with Johnson at 9AM, shot a few civics and snuck some time to chat with a few owners while they detailed their final touches before the show started (1PM) I was so happy to have me a few friendly neighbors from Vancouver. It’s mind-blowing how you can follow someone for so long, admiring their build on social media, actively seeing car growth, &finally put faces/ characters behind their car. Clean civic culture and good people for real. I can’t pinpoint every single favorite moment and as much as you guys gas and ‘like’ to read my little intros, I’ll let the shots do the rest of the narrating. I’m so appreciative of my friends for making this an awesome first time WF experience, the guys who hosted this dope gathering at Seattle convention center (WEKFEST), and for new friends in the car community.
