WEKFEST NJ 2023

I planned a trip back to the East-coast cause I’m absolutely drawn by the liveliness & good energy. I met a few eastcoast car enthusiast back in March, and they’d mentioned to come back this way once summer hits -cars come out of hibernation- so they say. Day 4 of this vacation I took a brief break from being a tourist & once again enjoyed the car culture on this side!

REWIND BACK TO ROLL IN

A few friends on the East-coast mentioned their roll in times were 7AM. Mind you, im on pst time (3hrs behind) so it was basically 4AM for me. I rolled out of bed packed my camera, and headed to edison.

How do you organize 20+ cars? The Team SSB sure managed to. The energy this early were all good vibes.

I met EWING & NICKY back in march of this year, & became friends through cars & ig!

I’m so glad I got to see ewing’s horizon grey kswapped coupe, everything from the bay -to wheels/ to shift knob is in-cohesive, i appreciate all the details in his car!

Nicky messaged me a week before wekfest, telling me he blew his track kswapped car, & when I got here he spent the day working on his motor to get it going & got it done! goodjob friend! I shot his car in the New jersey tab, but the daylight did some justice this time around.

Willy’s EK is on here like 5 times, but this track build has me inspired for my ek, one day 🤍
